Eight climbers from 8K Expedition summits Himlung Himal

International and Nepali climbers reach the summit after weeks of high-altitude expedition
KATHMANDU: Eight climbers from 8K Autumn 2025 Himlung Expedition Team successfully reached the summit of Mount Himlung Himal (7,126m) on October 27, the company announced.
The team comprised Cristian Dumitri Gheorghe (Romania), Ann Kathrin Bohmer (Germany), Amol Raghunath (India), and Nepali climbers Mingma Dorchee Sherpa, Pasang Nurbu Sherpa, Milan Rai, Pasang Sherpa, and Vision Tamang, who also served as high-altitude videographer and drone pilot.
“Huge congratulations to all the summiteers for this incredible achievement,” 8K Expedition stated.
The organizers also expressed gratitude to the 8K climbing guides, base camp managers, kitchen staff, and the international climbers for their trust and support, which were pivotal to the success of the mission.
Mount Himlung Himal, located in the Ganesh-Himal region, remains a challenging high-altitude peak, attracting experienced climbers seeking technical climbs and Himalayan adventure.
