Team of Chinese and Nepali mountaineers reaches 7,126m peak in Manaslu region on October 14
KATHMANDU: An eight-member international team successfully summited Mt. Himlung Himal (7,126m) on October 14, 2025, under the management of Imagine Nepal Treks & Expedition, the company announced.
The climbers reached the summit at around 7:00 a.m. Nepal time. The successful summit team included Huan Dong, Li Yitong, Zhang Haodu, and Liu Yishi from China, along with Angdu Sherpa, Lhakpa Tamang, Jit Bahadur Sherpa, and Jangbu Sherpa from Nepal.

Located in the Manaslu region near the Tibetan border, Himlung Himal rises above the remote Nar-Phu Valley and is considered one of Nepal’s most accessible 7,000-meter peaks.
Its moderate technical difficulty and scenic approach make it a popular choice for climbers preparing for higher-altitude expeditions.
