German climber, Nepali Sherpa summit Mt. Cho Oyu with Imagine Nepal

Second 8,000m peak in 10 days for the duo
KATHMANDU: A two-member team from Imagine Nepal’s Cho Oyu Expedition 2025 successfully reached the summit of Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) at 11:25 am today local time.
The summit team comprised Anna Katharina Ott of Germany and Ngima Dorjee Sherpa of Nepal.
The pair made the ascent just six days after crossing the border on September 26, following their earlier success on Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) on September 21.
Congratulating the climbers, Imagine Nepal said their achievement demonstrated “an impressive ascent of Cho Oyu and remarkable perseverance.” The company also wished them a safe descent back to base camp.
