KATHMANDU: British climber Steven Douglas Graham has completed the prestigious "Triple Crown" of the Everest region after successfully summiting Mount Lhotse on Sunday morning, having previously climbed Everest and Nuptse last year.

Graham reached the summit alongside fellow climber Andrew Karl Walbyoff at 09:10 AM under favourable weather conditions, accompanied by Nepali mountain guides Dawa Tenji Sherpa and Temba Sherpa as part of the HG Lhotse Expedition Spring 2026, organised by Himalayan Guides Nepal Treks & Expedition P. Ltd.

The Triple Crown refers to the summiting of all three major peaks of the Everest massif — Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse — a rare feat among high-altitude climbers.

"This summit marks a remarkable personal achievement," said Iswari Paudel, Managing Director of Himalayan Guides Nepal, adding that the expedition reflected strong teamwork and preparation by both the international climbers and the Nepali guiding team throughout the climb.

Himalayan Guides Nepal congratulated the climbers for their courage and dedication, and extended gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to the expedition's success and safety.
