Nine climbers summit Ama Dablam with Seven Summit Treks

KATHMANDU: As many as nine climbers reached the summit of Ama Dablam (6,812m) in the Khumbu region, according to Chhang Dawa Sherpa, expedition director at the Seven Summit Treks.

The team reached the summit over two days, under favorable weather conditions.

On October 26, summiters included Wesley Hubert N. Himpe (Belgium), Thomas Vendelbo Brown (Denmark), Antonio Rossi (Italy), along with Sherpas Lakpa Rinje, Lakpa Sange, Ngawang Paljor, and Gyalbu Sherpa of Nepal.

The following day, October 27, summiters were David Gitonga Wandai (Kenya) and Lakpa Sonam Sherpa, Sherpa informed.
