NMA, NMIA confer certificates for 17th High Mountain Rescue Training

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and the Nepal Mountain Guide Instructors' Association (NMIA) jointly awarded certificates of completion to participants and instructors of the 17th High Mountain Rescue Training (HMRT).
Certificates were presented by NMA President Fur Gelje Sherpa, Senior Vice President Iswari Paudel, Second Vice President Bodha Raj Bhandari, and General Secretary Rajendra Bahadur Lama, along with other officials of the association.
Thirty participants successfully completed the training, which was jointly organized by NMA and NMIA. Officials said the HMRT program continues to play a vital role in producing skilled human resources for high-altitude search and rescue operations in the Himalayas.
