KATHMANDU: Six climbers from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Nepal successfully reached the 6,814-meter summit of Mt. Ama Dablam on Tuesday, according to IAM Trekking & Expeditions.

The team reached the summit at 1:00 PM, the expedition organizers said.

The summit team included three climbers from Russia — Nadezhda Demianova, Viacheslav Andrianov, and Elena Koneeva — along with Artsiom Tsentsevitski from Belarus, Anna Sofrygina from Kazakhstan, and Dawa Tenzing Sherpa from Nepal.

IAM Trekking & Expeditions described the ascent as “an outstanding accomplishment on one of the most beautiful mountains in the Himalaya,” marking a proud moment for the entire climbing and support team.
