Six climbers including Russian climbers, Nepali Sherpa guides summit Mt Ama Dablam

KATHMANDU: A team of Russian climbers and Nepali Sherpa guides successfully reached the summit of Mt Ama Dablam (6,812m) on Tuesday, according to the expedition organizer 14 Peaks Expedition.
The Russian summiteers include Boris Egrov, Sergei Fedkin, and Evgenii Ivanov, while the Sherpa guides are Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa, Nang Pemba Sherpa, and Ang Tenji Sherpa, 14 Peaks said.

The ascent took place under clear skies and stable weather conditions after several days of challenges in the Himalayas, marking another successful summit for the expedition team, the expedition organizer said.
