KATHMANDU: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) wrapped up a successful participation at the International Travel Expo (ITE) Hong Kong 2025, held from June 12 to 15 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event provided a key platform to promote Nepal’s tourism offerings and build regional trade connections.

Nepal’s Pavilion at Booth V101 drew consistent footfall, attracting interest in Himalayan trekking, cultural and spiritual circuits, and short-haul getaway options. Visitors and trade professionals inquired about trek routes, travel packages, seasonal preferences, and flight connectivity, highlighting strong demand from the Hong Kong and broader Asian markets.

NTB Senior Manager Udaya Bhattarai delivered a destination presentation spotlighting Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and adventure experiences. He invited international tourism partners to collaborate and create unique travel offerings in Nepal.

The Pavilion featured a rich display of Nepal’s heritage, landscapes, and adventure activities. Private sector participation further enhanced the showcase, underlining Nepal’s diversity as a travel destination.

Dr. Bindeshwar Prasad Lekhak, Honorary Consul General of Nepal to Hong Kong, visited the Pavilion and praised the coordinated efforts of NTB and private exhibitors in strengthening Nepal’s image in Asian tourism markets.

Participating companies included Himalayan Club Tours & Travel, Pearl Holidays, Alpine Club of Himalaya, Connect Miles, North Nepal Travel & Trek, Satori Adventures, Jugal Holidays, and Canton International Travel Service Nepal.

NTB said the successful participation reaffirmed Nepal’s growing appeal in the Asian outbound market and expressed optimism about converting trade leads into increased tourist arrivals.
