The Nepal Tourism Board has set up dedicated help desks at its Bhrikutimandap office and at both the domestic and international sections of Tribhuvan International Airport to assist tourists and tourism workers affected by the recent floods.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has set up dedicated help desks at its Bhrikutimandap office and at both the domestic and international sections of Tribhuvan International Airport to assist tourists and tourism workers affected by the recent floods.

The help desks are being operated in coordination with the Tourist Police, government agencies and tourism associations, NTB said.

As part of its ongoing response, the board is collecting and updating information on casualties and missing persons, including foreign tourists and Nepali tourism workers. It is also helping affected tourists, workers and their families establish contact with their respective handling companies and other stakeholders.

NTB said the help desks are providing coordination, facilitation and verified information updates. The facilities remain in continuous operation, with regular coordination among concerned agencies to support those affected.

Those seeking assistance or wishing to provide information can visit the NTB help desks at Bhrikutimandap or the domestic and international sections of Tribhuvan International Airport, the board said.
