Another 26 climbers from around the world summit Manaslu with Seven Summit Treks

Kuwait to Costa Rica—International climbers from eight nations join Sherpa team for a Himalayan highlight under Arnold Coster’s leadership

KATHMANDU: The Autumn 2025 climbing season on Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m) continues to sparkle, with Seven Summit Treks  announcing another summit success on Wednesday morning that highlights Nepal’s appeal for high-altitude adventurers.

Early Wednesday, an international team of 11 mountaineers from eight nations stood on the Manaslu summit under the leadership of Himalayan guide Arnold Coster. The climbers include Anwar Mohammad (Kuwait); Cecile Paule Garcia and Dimitri Igor Serge Kijek (France); Mohammadmehdi Nasootifard (Iran); Fransisca Harlijanto and Thomas Chandra (Indonesia); Klaas Wierenga and John Pieter Simon Pronk (Netherlands); Bernardo Sanchez Fernandez and Ricardo Lugo Flores (Mexico); Jennifer Berrical Barboza (Costa Rica); and Davy Rik J. Acke (Belgium).

A skilled Nepali Sherpa team ensured the climb’s success: Pasang Sherpa, Dipen Nuppa Bhote, Sajjan Ghale, Mingtemba Sherpa, Dorchi Sherpa, Jenjen Lama, Mingmar Tamang, Dawaphurten Bhote, Chhebi Bhote, Phinjo Nuppa Bhote, Dawasange Sherpa, Chhiring Nuppa Bhote, Pas Dukpa Sherpa, and Jo Jo Bhote.

This latest ascent follows two earlier summit waves on September 22 and 23 that brought 33 climbers to the top, confirming Manaslu’s status as a favorite autumn destination for mountaineers worldwide.

With a total of 62 climbers in its autumn program and services ranging from VIP to standard expeditions, Seven Summit Treks is once again showcasing Nepal’s unmatched Himalayan experiences—where expert Sherpa support and international camaraderie create unforgettable adventures.
