Chyantey Pyantey Inc.'s summit, backed by USSEC's Right to Protein Movement, drew 166 participants and 30+ brand partners

KATHMANDU: Creator Summit 2026 concluded successfully in Kathmandu, bringing together creators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, health professionals, and innovators for a day of discussions, collaboration, and networking centered on nutrition and public health.

Organized by Chyantey Pyantey Inc., the summit was supported by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) through its Right to Protein Movement, which promotes quality protein, balanced nutrition, and healthy lifestyles as pillars of a healthier Nepal. The event drew 166 participants and backing from more than 30 brands and partners, creating a platform for Nepal's leading creators and industry experts to discuss how digital influence can be used to educate and drive social impact.

Representing USSEC, Deeba Giannoulis, Regional Market Lead for the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA), outlined the vision behind the Right to Protein Movement. She said access to quality protein is fundamental to improving nutrition, fighting hunger and malnutrition, supporting child development, strengthening immunity, and building healthier, more productive communities. Giannoulis also stressed the need for collaboration between industry, healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, and content creators to advance science-based nutrition education across the country.

A central message of the summit was that quality protein is not a luxury but a necessity for healthy living. Speakers pointed to eggs, poultry, fish, dairy, soy foods, and pulses as key sources of nutrients essential for growth, physical performance, and mental development, noting that greater awareness of balanced diets could help curb malnutrition nationwide.

The summit featured panel discussions with Dr. Ashesh Bhattarai, Anand Bagaria, Sanjog Koirala, Kabita Nepali, Evana Manandhar, Sabana Khatun, and Oda Steen, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Panelist Usha Rajak was unable to attend due to an urgent flight commitment but remained listed among the summit's speakers.

Organizers highlighted the growing role of Nepal's creators and influencers in shaping public health outcomes, noting their reach across digital platforms gives them influence over food choices and the ability to challenge nutrition myths and promote healthier lifestyles.

The program also included a stand-up comedy segment by Sandip Chettri, who used humor to reinforce messages on healthy living, along with a fashion showcase featuring three clothing brands and 13 models choreographed by Barsha Bhandari.

The summit was moderated by Rubishka Shrestha and Salina Maharjan. Production and event management were handled by Sunya Productions under Bidhan Bastola and Saugat Acharya, with Shrijal Bikram Shahi serving as Event Executive Director.
