KATHMANDU: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has concluded its participation at the 31st edition of the Thai International Travel Fair (TITF) 2026, held from January 22 to 25 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

During the four-day consumer travel fair, NTB, in coordination with Nepal Airlines and 11 travel and trekking companies from Nepal, showcased the country’s diverse tourism offerings through the Nepal Pavilion.

The participating companies included Image Travel and Expedition Pvt Ltd, Nepal Hiking Team Pvt Ltd, Broad Adventure Pvt Ltd, Nepal Social Treks and Expedition Pvt Ltd, Pearl Holidays Pvt Ltd, Core Trek Pvt Ltd, Trekking Guide Team Adventure Pvt Ltd, Nepal Big Mountain Travel Company Pvt Ltd, Go Nepal Travel, Tours and Trekking Pvt Ltd, Mountain Great Adventure Pvt Ltd, and Destinago Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd.

Thailand remains one of Nepal’s key tourism source markets in Southeast Asia, supported by strong air connectivity, including daily direct flights and more than 20 flights per week between the two countries. NTB said this connectivity has played an important role in strengthening tourism exchanges and market engagement.

TITF 2026 provided a platform for direct interaction with consumers, enabling NTB and participating companies to promote Nepal’s tourism products. Destinations and experiences such as Lumbini, the Himalayan region, heritage cities, adventure tourism, and spiritual travel drew significant interest from Thai visitors.

The fair also facilitated business-to-business engagement, with participating companies networking with travel trade professionals, tour operators, and media representatives. According to NTB, these interactions helped establish new business contacts, strengthen partnerships, and explore future collaboration opportunities.

NTB stated that its participation at TITF 2026 contributed to enhancing Nepal’s visibility in the Thai market, reinforcing tourism partnerships, and supporting long-term tourism growth through consumer engagement and trade networking.
