Snow persists on Khangsar–Tilicho Base Camp trail despite improving weather

KATHMANDU: Snow remains on sections of the trekking trail from Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp in Manang despite improving weather conditions, the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) has said.

In a trail update, the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC)-run project advised trekkers to proceed cautiously, warning that snow could leave some sections slippery.

Trekkers have been advised to carry trekking poles and crampons, wear appropriate gear and follow safety guidelines. They have also been urged to monitor local safety advisories and updated trail information throughout their journeys.
